- 1 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup flax seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the chia seeds and flax seeds until evenly combined.
Add the water and stir well. Let the mixture rest for 10–15 minutes until it thickens into a gel-like consistency.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and dried thyme until fully incorporated.
Spread the mixture evenly onto the parchment-lined baking sheet, about ⅛-inch thick.
Score the mixture into cracker shapes using a knife or pizza cutter.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the edges are golden and the crackers feel firm.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet.
Break along the scored lines and serve.
